Vines over 70 years old on volcanic ash and sand soil at an altitude of 1,200 meters.
The ruby red color is elegant. The nose is attractive and visceral. Characteristic of the Etna terroir, it reveals ferrous notes in the form of anchovy, while fruity nuances of blackberry and pomegranate are accompanied by sensations of roasted chestnuts.
The entry is bold, delicate, and expressive of the volcanic terroir. The tannic texture is subtle, and as such, it is the entire structure of the wine that offers moments of intriguing elegance.
