CHÂTEAU CHEVAL BLANC
Château Cheval Blanc 1er Grand Cru "Saint-Emilion" 2013
A deep, ruby red appearance. The intensity of aromas is very pronounced. On the nose, it conjures up a cocktail of red fruit, raspberry and cherry, and candied fruit, black-berry, blueberry and plum. Swirling unveils a floral bouquet of Austin rose and lilac, together with a hint of almond. The tannins are ripe and silky, smooth and rounded. The wine is supple and full and the medium-length finish leaves an impression of freshness. The absence of oak is worthy of mention. 2013 mainly featured a rainy June which disturbed flowering and a hot and dry summer. Thanks to a historically low yield in volumes, 2013 Château Cheval Blanc is a wine full of freshness and smoothness.
TENUTA DELLE TERRE NERE
Santo Spirito 2015 Magnum
An outstandingly beautiful location, gentle wide terraces flowing sweetly in striking contrast to steep, graggy Guardiola. Again, Santo Spirito’s soil is deep rich volcanic ash, its grass a lush emerald green, its vigorous vines displaying a well fed abundance. Santo Spirito’s wines are luscious and sensual, always seductive in their almost fleshy bouquet, and in their buttermilk richness. And yet there’s still a balance and a purity there, very sophisticated, yes, but tender as well. Generous and vulnerable at once. Magnum 1,5lt.
AZIENDA AGRICOLA MILAZZO
Maria Costanza Rosso 2015
Intense deep red colour tending to granate. Elegant to the nose, opens up with light notes of fruit, spices, incense, ink and Mediterranean scrubland. It unfolds forward hints of red fruit, raspberry and ripen ribes. Powerful mouth, great structure, smooth tannin and extremely persistent.

1998 Único is a wine for all eternity. Only a handful of terroirs worldwide are able to match wine's extraordinary ageing capacity. This is a wine of inimitable style, mature, tremendously elegant and silky, in which the ageing process brings the mystique of the essence to the surface. Patriarch and precursor of a line of exceptional wines, forged over time, whose durability distinguishes and gives them a special character. With an inimitable, firm and solid style, it has been able to create a unique and timeless taste. A world-renowned icon that thanks to the endeavours, perseverance and discretion has carved the story of Myth full of truth. The qualities of the Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon in different proportions are assembled to perfection in this wine. Each provides a differentiating factor that makes the wine great in every vintage. The vines are grown on land where the land is at the point between the slopes down from the wasteland and the alluvial plain. The soil is the surface of the hillside with small fragment of limestone. There is abundant deep quartz gravel down in a sandy main soil. There are many angular limestone boulders on the surface. Red wine made in controlled fermentation using native yeast in wooden tanks. Malolactic fermentation also takes place in wood. After fermentation, it goes through what is probably the world's longest aging of a red wine, almost 10 years between wood and bottle. The different stages take place in different barrel types: American and French wood, new and used 225-liter barrels, 20,000-liter vats, each batch is what determines the type of wood and time spent in each container. After the stage in the wood, it is aged in the bottle to complete a long and complex aging process. It will normally spend 6 years in wood and three in the bottle. The wine has guided the wine. Único remains true to a clear and well-defined style, with an inimitable character and style; elegance, strength, aging capacity ... A unique and timeless taste that has elevated to the aristocracy of the great classic wines.
