Bartolo Mascarello

The Bartolo Mascarello winery, located in Barolo, Piedmont, is famous for its Barolo produced using traditional methods. Founded in 1918, the winery emphasizes the use of large Slavonian oak barrels rather than smaller barriques, following a conservative winemaking philosophy promoted by founder Bartolo Mascarello and continued by daughter Maria-Teresa. Production is limited to approximately 1250 cases of Barolo per year.
