Calderara Sottana 2021 has an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections that develop with ageing. On the nose, it offers a wide range of scents, including ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, alongside hints of herbs, spices, minerality and a delicate note of smoke.
In the mouth, the wine is dry, balanced and harmonious. The tannins are present, but well integrated, giving structure and softness to the drink. The taste is complex and persistent, with a pleasant acidity which gives the wine freshness and liveliness.
