Galatrona 2021 Petrolo

The 2021 Galatrona is a good successor to the 2020. In most vintages, the Galatrona is very showy from the start. This is not the case at all in 2021. This wine will need a few more years to show its best side. Black cherry, plum, mocha, leather, licorice and incense give 2021 enormous complexity. More than anything, I admire the sense of vertical, explosive energy that catapults 2021 into the stratosphere. It is a great wine from all points of view.
