Nerosanloré 2015 Gulfi

Nerosanloré is a cru of the Nero d'Avola grape variety with floral characteristics. Production area : Val di Noto, between Pachino and Noto.

Vigna San Lorenzo extends for about 2,5 hectares along the road of the same name. This vineyard most influenced by the sea just 700 metres away. It is the seaside of Marzamemi, in the southeasternmost corner of Sicily in the Val di Noto (Siracusa) at about 10 metres above sea level. The climate in this area, further south than Tunis, is temperate-hot Mediterranean. The plant density is 7000 vines per hectare grown ad alberello. The more than 40 year-old vines yield no more than 40 quintals per hectare.
