Barolo Bricco Boschis 2016 Cavallotto

The Barolo Bricco Boschis emerges from the glass with a dominant scent of red fruits and
black, accentuated by notes of tobacco, licorice and crushed rose petals. The hot period of
mid-summer gave birth to intense fruit which then became expansive and generous but
not cloying. The early ripe fruit is marked by layers of spices, tar and minerals
which give the wine structure and length. Although young, this Barolo is relatively
approachable, it will improve over the next decade with bottle aging.
