Conterno's Barolo Francia is a great wine from Piedmont: a majestic expression of the Francia vineyard located in the municipality of Serralunga. A traditional vinification and a 48-month maturation in large barrels give life to an austere, soft and very structured wine, with intense aromas of red fruit, undergrowth, leather and sweet spices.
At sight it has a beautiful ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose the first hints are of ripe fruit, cherry in alcohol, plum, blackberry and then close with notes of sweet licorice, leather and earth. In the mouth light tannins excellently supported by a precious minerality.
