Dense and deep, Cos d'Estournel 2017 reveals itself with delicacy and elegance. Its very fine tannins are charming and silky, while on the palate there is the beautiful sophistication of a straightforward, racy wine with the fleshiness of a great Cos d'Estournel.
The aromas are both spicy and very fresh, with a great balance between acidity and fruit. Opulent but not heavy, with excellent length, this is a vintage with great ageing potential.
