Langhe Rosso Darmagi 2012 is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, from a vineyard planted by Angelo Gaja in 1978. It was his father Giovanni who inadvertently gave the wine its name. When the Cabernet Sauvignon vines took the place of the Nebbiolo vines, "Darmagi!" (what a pity) was his first comment in dialect.
Dark red color, it has aromas of ripe fruit and spicy notes.
