Dom Pérignon created the 2008 Vintage with a bold blend based on pinot noir grapes.
The fruit and structure of these grapes create a balanced tension between the precision and natural brightness of full-bodied and intense wines.

The bouquet opens immediately with aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry. Powdery notes of iris and violet soon blend with the fruity aromas and persist. Letting it breathe, the wine reveals greener nuances, which evoke privet, angelica and camphor leaves.

The first sensations are tactile, fleshy, silky. They unfold like a caress that, little by little, becomes more decisive. The acidic texture, signature of this vintage, insinuates itself into the structure of the Pinot Noir and makes the heart of the wine beat. The finish, with hints of peony and white pepper, is decisive and persistent.
