Rosso di Montalcino 2022 Biondi Santi

A Rosso di Montalcino with a rounded, intense, lush character. The nose is initially a fruity explosion: ripe cherry, blueberry, black plums. Then spices, blue flowers, mint. The palate is succulent and at the same time very rich, with sensations of morello cherry, blood orange, star anise. The tannins in the youthful phase are a little contracted although fine-grained, the acidity is suffused and helps to keep the wine balanced and in tension. The finish is layered and relaxed, very delicious.
