Since 2014, Château d’Yquem has been bottling selected batches to create a consistent and consistent Sauternes.

Only 1,000 cases of 12 half-bottles were produced, all numbered and presented in a limited edition wooden case: this is an unprecedented, unique case.

Each wine is composed of batches from different vintages: the maturity and complexity of the older ones blend perfectly with the freshness and fruity notes of the younger ones.

The bottles are simply named 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Sauternes 1: Bottled in 2014 and composed of four lots selected from the 2010 to 2013 vintages.
Sauternes 2: Bottled in 2016 and composed of five lots selected from the 2010 to 2014 vintages.
Sauternes 3: Bottled in 2017 and composed of four lots selected from the 2011 to 2016 vintages.
Sauternes 4: Bottled in 2017 and composed of three lots selected from the 2011 to 2016 vintages.
Sauternes 5: Bottled in 2019 and composed of three lots selected from the 2014 to 2016 vintages. 2016.
