Grappa di Ribolla Gravner is a white distillate produced from the pomace of Ribolla Gialla, a vine of Greek origin planted in the Gravner estate, the result of a white grape vine grown in Friuli following the single-variety method.
The Ribolta remained in amphorae together with the marcs for a period of 6 months, is drawn off with the Easter moon, after which the marcs are conferred to Rosà, a town near Bassano del Grappa, then they are distilled immediately.
The Grappa di Ribolla Gravner from the Capovilla distillery is a structured distillate with an important persistence, the result of the great friendship between the master of grappa Vittorio Capovilla and the Friulian winemaker Josko Gravner.
