Carlo Hauner, of mixed background from Brescia who trasplanted himself in the Aeolian Islands, was the creator of the agricultural farm that carries his name.
After the dead of Carlo Hauner in 1996 the company is energetically led by his son Carlo.

The nose notes peaches infused with lively saline aromas from sun and sea, fresh minerals and vegetable nuances of celery and sage, kiwi, melon, and resin. On the palate delicate acidity accompanied by the sweetness of honey impregnated with saline lymph and accents of olives in brine. A fluid caramel lingering caress felt on the ever present sea backdrop that leaves the throat feeling nostalgic for the vivid, fruity sweet and salty finish.

At the sight it has a beautiful intense ruby with a purple nail that is difficult to penetrate. Good consistency with narrow and heavy bows. The nose is rich in aromas, excellent intensity with elegant notes that start from small red bramble fruits to widen to a sweet spice of tobacco and cocoa blending into clayish notes of dry soils. The taste is ample and velvety, wrapping the palate in a gritty caress of a beautiful sweet tannin that gradually leaves the return of a rich flavor.
