A special vintage year 2000, marked by a rainy winter and a temperate spring, followed by a torrid and dry summer, which greatly limited production and anticipated the ripening of the grapes. This Duca Enrico is a dry wine with the taste, austere and opulent. The intense ruby color gives it importance and accompanies the elegance of the aromas of cocoa and cherry in alcohol.

Duca Enrico, produced for the first time in 1984, is one of the wine icons of Italian and international oenology. The first 100% Nero d’Avola label in the history of Sicilian wine, this noble red is now made exclusively from particular meticulously selected vines in the Tenuta Suor Marchesa: a wine with aristocratic allure and unmistakable style.
